Link and the Laws of Motion

Last weekend, I listened an interesting discussion on The Reality Check, episode #450. The topic was The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and the Third Law of Newton. While I haven't play the game, I find the Third Law of Motion quite fascinating. In the game, Link uses the Korok Leaf to generate enough wind to push the raft, and of course, that would not work in the real world. This is not a critic of the game, but a quick dive into Newton's Laws of Motion

A New Year is Coming

Many, many years ago, when we were highschool students, I failed to draw a rose for my friend. This year, I tried again with better results; I'm still not satisfied, but in another twenty years I may succeed.

This drawing will be part of my new years' postcard for my old friend, who's living now far, far away...

I read Prison School manga. As a friend of mine pointed out, is all sorts of crazy, but the artwork is amazing! The plot is interesting too.

In a later chapter, I found this amazing drawing of Charles Darwin, and I couldn't resist to try to copy it. My version is not as good as the original, of course, but it was good drawing practice

2013 be gone!

2013 wasn't a bad year to me. Many good things happened this year, but it was a difficult one. I haven't had such a tough year in decades, and I'm not that old!
